We stayed at the Nikos Hotel in Matala, and it was a wonderful experience. Even though we only stayed for a few days, it felt like we had been there for 10 – the service was so attentive and warm. The family that owns the hotel runs it with great care and, at the same time, very professionally. We were able to have a late checkout and even use a shower on our last day before heading to the airport – a small gesture that perfectly rounded off our stay. We felt at home and, at the same time, like we were in a very well-run hotel. Highly recommended!

Small, spotlessly clean room on the edge of the small town so nice and quiet. It includes parking just up the lane. The buffet breakfast is cheap and delicious.

Magic Matala

Hotel located in the center of Matala with private parking. Conveniently located for the beach and the town center. Comfortable and clean rooms with a beautiful flowered and lush patio and a small terrace overlooking the Matala caves. Despite the nearby musicians, the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was excellent, although limited in choice. Everyone was very kind and helpful.
